Gulu town based singers Laxzy mover and Liama Irene together with their managers Kash Owakabi and Badman Solo respectively survived narrowly an accident involving a bus belonging to Roblyn Coaches with a registration number UAQ 643 W heading to Kitgum town from Kampala on Wednesday night.
The accident happened at Namayonjo village in Nakasongola district along Kampala- Gulu highway. The bus is suspected to had rammed into a stationary truck with mechanical damage at around midnight causing the death of seven people and eleven serious inquiries.
The truck that is said to have had a spoilt tire was packed at the road side and being worked on by a mechanic had no signals making it hard for any approaching vehicle to detect it’s presence.
Laxzy a singer, Liama also an artist, Kash Owakabi a radio presenter with radio king who doubles as Laxzy’s manager and Badman Solo a music promoter in northern uganda who were onboard to Gulu from Kampala where they had gone to record a song were lucky to have survived the accident with no serious injuries.
Local authorities in Nakasongola blame the cause of the accident on narrow road and confirmed that it’s the third time an accident of that kind is happening on the same spot since the year began.
